Amberley Castle, West Sussex

Amberley Castle is a magnificent historical treasure tucked away near the picturesque village of Amberley in the chalk South Downs, West Sussex. I stayed there overnight recently for a special treat with my wife, Alexie. It was only when I checked in that it dawned on me I'd actually been here before to video a wedding many moons ago!

Anyhow, here are a few photos I took to give you a taste of what it's like. As we were leaving another guest arrived...in helicopter no less! Oh how the other half live.

Alexie and I hailing a cab outside. "Taxi!"

Ca'Segredo Hotel, Venice

During my recent trip to Venice I was keen to stay at a traditional Venetian hotel to soak up the true ambience of this beautiful city. Whilst doing my research I stumbled across this hidden gem, the Ca'Segredo Hotel. It's absolutely stunning with authentic Venetian interior design, fresco paintings and opulent Italian style in abundance. It boasts an enviable setting overlooking the Grand Canal and sits in a plum position in one of the most panoramic corners Venice, facing the Historical Market, between Ca’ D’Oro and Rialto Bridge. I really can't recommend this place highly enough.

Accommodation in Venice isn't cheap but if there's one place you want to push the boat out, surely it has to be in Venice!

Luxury interiors

I took these photographs of one of the deluxe villas in Denis Island, the Seychelles. Each villa is beautifully decorated throughout, with open air bathrooms and its very own private beach overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Doesn't get much better than that!

Goldstone Hall Hotel

Goldstone Hall is a beautiful hotel in Market Drayton, Shropshire. They recently commissioned us for three days to photograph the hotel with the specific brief to create a bank of images which would give their website a face-lift. We photographed everything from the deluxe rooms, the first class restaurant and the cosey bar to the hotel's exterior, the beautiful gardens and even the vegetable patch! If you're ever that neck of the woods we'd thoroughly recommend spending a night or two there as it's a sublime place to stay. And make sure you get to eat at the restaurant - Andrew, the young head chef, is a star in the making!

To view these photos in situ you can visit Goldstone Hall's website.
