Whilst most couples plan to have their weddings in the summer sunshine, a surprising number these days are opting for winter weddings. Maybe it's the idea of having log fires and twinkly Christmas lights to add to the ambience. Or maybe it's because it's cheaper! Whatever the reason, at least you know it's going to be wet and windy and can plan accordingly, unlike our erratic British summers!We photographed a couple of weddings in December. The photos below are from Sharon and Stuart's wedding at the beginning of the month. They were a fantastic couple - very warm, friendly and relaxed and a pure delight to photograph. We hope our photos of the day have captured the excitement and emotions of the day.
It wasn't until after our wedding that we apppreciated how special the photos would be to us - and how lucky we were that we had Richard as our photographer.
