Product photography (jewellery)

It's relatively easy to do standard packshot photography but if you want your photographs to have that extra pazzazz, you need a certain level of skill, experience and creative flair. We took these jewellery photographs this week for use in press advertising and PR. The brief was simple - make the jewellery look as striking, beautiful and desirable as possible. If you're looking for something similar to this, get in touch.

  1. Nice shots. Is the reflection post production or part of the shot?

  2. Thanks Cedric. This was shot on a reflective matt surface to get this desired effect. We did do some post production to these such as removing dust/scratch marks and adjusting the levels to ensure the background was jet black.

  3. There is another way of creating a similar effect in photoshop rather than in camera. There's a great tutorial here which explains this far better than I could!
